Midwest & Bluegrass Rail recognizes that many facilities and sites have no direct access to rail. Don’t let this be a deterrent to enjoying the competitive advantage of shortline railroad service. We offer options at our four locations for rail-truck transloading, which is a process by which bulk commodities are conveyed from a railcar to a truck, or vice versa, for final delivery to an offsite facility. A full-service transload facility has loading and unloading services handled by a 3^rd party logistics provider. The other option is a team track location, where customers gain access to tracks on railroad right-of-way to load or unload railcars with their own personnel.
